Koscom made a contract with Smile Microcredit Bank to develop micro credit information system

A leading financial IT solution provider, Koscom(CEO Kim, Kwang Hyun) announced on December 14 that it signed a contracted with Smile Microcredit Bank(Chairman Kim, Seung Yu) to develop micro credit information system.

In an effort to start the system by July 2010, Koscom plans to develop business for internal affairs, loans, and external relations in addition to provide related infrastructure such as H/W and S/W for the next seven months.

One Koscom official said, "We will give a full support to successfully build the microcredit information system so that microcredit business, a typical policy for poor people, can be carried out smoothly. 

Microcredit, one of the people-friendly policies of the government, is the extension of very small loans to those in poverty based on 2 trillion won of financial resources raised by conglomerates and banks. And loan business is expected to start from December 15 as establishment of a local foundation will get into full swing. (The End)
