Koscom contracted with KFB to develop new Credit Information Sharing System

Koscom(CEO Kim, Kwang Hyun), who has been in charge of the IT infrastructure of the Korean capital market since its establishment, announced on May 11 that it made contract with Korea Federation of Banks("KFB", Chairman Shin Dong-Kyu) to develop new Credit Information Sharing System("CISS").

KFB's new CISS integrates diverse credit information (loan, credit card, delinquency or default) from all member banks on their individual or institutional customers and shares the information with member banks. It will take about 6 months to develop the new system, which is expected to be launched in this October.

Koscom, who has operated stably the EXTURE, KRX's new trading system since its successful launching at the end of March, will put  KFB project all technology and experience gained through the projects in the securities and futures industry and help KFB become a leading organization in the financial business.

Meanwhile, Koscom is a leading financial IT solution provider specialized in securities business with its 32 years of experience. With this triumph overcoming difficult business environment caused by global financial crisis and the intense competition against mega IT solution providers, Koscom is predicted to diversify its business models into other area such as system integration.
