Next generation financial system "PowerBase" puts into operation

Koscom announced on 27th that they have launched services starting with Hanyang Securities and completed its "PowerBase" project which refers to the next generation financial system.

PowerBase is the next generation of a total solution securities which is the following model of 'BASE21' that Koscom had offered. By this July this service will be available in 50 financial services such as, securities, futures, asset management companies and etc.

Hanyang Securities which first subscribes the PowerBase service will offer their clients the utmost quality of services with enhanced ordering/settlement speed for "HyGood Power"(HTS) up to 30%.

In addition, in order to provide diverse investment information, the one-stop service which makes it easier and convenient to order, provide intensified realtime contents related to bonds, funds, updated news as well as the overseas stock markets. This service allows the users to enjoy both expeditiousness and convenience by offering "My Menu" function that the customer can make up the screen and menu freely.

Kang, Sung Heon(manager of Hanyang Securities Cyber Promotion Team) said, "I have learned from the customer survey that the most important thing for investors is high speed of ordering." He added, "I asked Koscom to concentrate on this matter and as a result, there has been a significant change." 

On the other hand, the major securities companies are in progress of improving their services to transform their position to investment bank with the enforcement of Capital Market Integration Law that comes into effect shortly.

While the capital market integration law becomes a hot issue in securities business, Koscom initially begins its system implementation services that could support the working environment of investment bank by supporting global trading standards, algorism trading, proprietary trading as well as integrated asset management through the PowerBase service.

Especially, when the capital market integration law comes into effect, speedy development of IT solutions will be required according to the introduction of derivative products.
