- Developing the CME-linked trading of the KOSPI200 Futures

Koscom(CEO Kim, Kwang Hyun), who has been in charge of the IT infrastructure of Korean capital market since its establishment, announced on March 19 that it obtained the project to develop the KRX's Unified System for Global Market to support the CME-linked trading of the KOSPI200 Futures, which is representative financial derivatives in Korea.

Major development issues are as follow:

 ① Channel service
    - sending/receiving the orders, market prices, execution details, and issues information to/from CME's Globex system
    - Uses FIX, FAST, MQ, and Socket technologies

② Order and execution management service
    - User management, ordering through HTS, delivering order to CME and receiving the execution result, real-time margin management, account information change, etc.

③ Market actions or market prices service, security management service (Securing sending/receiving data, DB, certificates)

Expected efforts

① Reinforcing the global competency of the KOSPI200 Futures through 24-hour trading
② Lowering the IT cost by sharing the global market system
③ Increasing investment opportunities and expanding risk management methods
