Koscom, the professional financial IT solution provider(CEO Kim Kwang Hyun), announced on September 3 that it contracted MoU with Sophis Technology Ltd.(hereinafter as "Sophis", CEO Pascal Xatart), the global standard financial software specialist. Koscom and Sophis will be collaborating in fields such as marketing, consulting, solution, SI, and maintenance, targeting domestic investment banking solution market.

According to the MoU, Sophis comes to strengthen its foundation in Korean financial investment market and Koscom acquires credible solution for over-the-counter derivatives market which enables itself to leap forward into the future projects. Furthermore, domestic clients of Sophis are promised faster maintenance services through Koscom, no longer having to go through Sophis' French headquarters.

With its distinguished IT service which consolidates Sophis' solution and its experiences in operating securities systems, Koscom is targeting on securities and insurance firms as well as banks that are playing major roles in over-the-counter derivatives trading.
