Koscom holds an Algorithm Trading Workshop

A leading financial IT solution provider, Koscom(CEO Kim Kwang Hyun) successfully finished an Algorithm Trading Workshop on August 26th which was held for 3 days with 17 personnel from major securities companies that are striving to obtain professionals and proper IT infrastructure to meet the influence of the Capital Market Act.

Koscom held the workshop to share the know-how, which it got through its PowerAlgo service and business partnership with global solution providers, with securities firms and to help them develope the trading strategy and proper IT systems in the fiercing market.

A participant said, "I was reluctant to join the workshop, but I found the enthusiastic lectures and real-time online lessons very helpful in the end. And hopefully this kind of workshops will continue to be held in the future in consideration of Koscom's another important role as a financial IT education center for the industry."

Attributing to the positive response of the participants, Koscom is planning to hold other workshops that suit its role as a financial IT education center. Koscom is also ready to provide consulting service to securities firms on installation of algorithm trading solution.

Meanwhile, Koscom is making efforts to launch 'Financial IT Education Center' for the industry after forming taskforce team on January 2009. (The End)
