□ The preliminary round for 'SecuInside 2014" was held on May 31st and June 1st. This event is for all white hackers in the world to compete one another of hacking and tracking & defending skills.
* White Hacker : A information security professional fighting against a 'black hacker' who researches on security vulnerabilities in computers and internet and steals critical information out of external computers.
□ Koscom(CEO Chung, Yun Dae) has be holding this event for 4 years to come up with effective counterplan for currently heightened hacking and security issues within financial sector. It is also expected to become a forum where worldwide hacker-related professionals come and introduce various new skills.
□ The preliminary round will be held for 30 hours on online from 3 PM on May 31st to 9 PM on June 1st. For the people who wants to participate in this event can apply through homepage(www.secuinside.com).
□ Korea University Graduate School of Information Security, the supervision of this meeting, said "We will select questions that corresponds to global standards and trends of hacking and security issues." and "We will try our best to clarify the questions and exclude the tricky and complicated questions.
□ On a preliminary round, the top 10 teams will be selected to advance to the final and the finalists will be posted on the official website of 'SecuInside 2014' on this upcoming June 1st.
□ The final round will be held at Conrad Hotel located in Yeouido on July 8th and 9th. The winner of this year will be given the qualification of the final round for 'DEFCON' which is the World Best Hacker convention in Las vegas, USA.
□ The number of teams participating the 'SecuInside' event is greatly increasing that 1083 teams from 77 different countries participated and 'PPP(Plaid Parliment of Pwning), Carnegie Mellon University, USA' won the contest for three consecutive years.
